The Russian dictator’s special representative, Kirill Dmitriev, brought candies with Vladimir Putin’s quotes on the wrappers to the US talks. He announced this on his Instagram page .

“We continue the Russia-US dialogue,” Dmitriev signed his message.

The Russian special representative showed candies with quotes from the dictator that he brought to America.

There were quotes such as Russia “does not abandon its own” and that the Russian Federation’s borders “end nowhere.”

The media also published a photo showing other inscriptions on these candies.

Dmitriev’s visit to the US – what is known

Earlier, it was reported that Putin’s chief negotiator unexpectedly arrived in the United States for official talks with representatives of the Donald Trump administration. The visit took place several days after President Trump announced tough new sanctions against Russia, and in the wake of his decision to “canceled” a planned summit with Vladimir Putin.

Kirill Dmitriev subsequently stated that Ukraine and Russia were “close to a diplomatic settlement” of the war .

“Of course, this is only possible if Russia’s interests are taken into account and treated with respect,” he said.

At the same time, the Kremlin negotiator named three conditions for ending the war against Ukraine. According to him, one of them is security guarantees for Ukraine, something Russia seems open to.

“There’s definitely the issue of territories with Russian populations, which were attacked by Ukrainian troops even before the conflict began. And there’s the issue of Ukraine’s neutrality, which is important for Russia’s security,” Dmitriev said.
