The head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service stayed in Pyongyang for three days, journalists reported.
There is a war going on in Ukraine , and the Kremlin sent the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, to its ally, North Korea (DPRK).

Newsweek writes about this . The publication reports that Naryshkin stayed in Pyongyang for three days – from March 25 to 27. There he held talks with North Korean Minister of State Security Ri Chang. In particular, it is noted that negotiations on the international and regional situation continued.
In addition, the parties discussed “practical issues to further strengthen cooperation to cope with the ever-increasing espionage and conspiratorial moves of hostile forces.”
It is noted that Naryshkin is a close associate of Putin; previously, the current head of the SVR served as head of the Kremlin administration and speaker of the lower house of the Russian parliament.
“Overseas travel by senior intelligence officials is generally not made public in real time unless it is for specific purposes,” the newspaper writes.
