The Kremlin says the Polish regulator’s fine against Russia’s gas monopoly Gazprom is unlikely to have a more negative effect on relations with Poland, as they are hard to call prosperous.
This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, reports “European Truth” with reference to TASS .
“I have no doubt that everything that is possible and necessary in terms of legal support for any countermeasures will be done by the corporation,” he said.
Speaking about how this move by the Polish government will affect the state of Russian-Polish relations, the president’s spokesman said that they can hardly be called prosperous and it can hardly be assumed that anything could affect their situation even more negatively.
“In general, relations are not at the proper level,” – said Peskov.
The Polish Office for Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) has reportedly fined Russia’s Gazprom 29 billion zlotys (more than 6 billion euros) for failing to cooperate in an antitrust investigation into the construction of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline.
According to the decision of the regulator, five other companies were fined more than 234 million zlotys. All of them participated in the construction of the pipeline.

After 20 years of non stop propaganda against Poland, your chickens finally come home to roost, Peskov.
Getting hungry. LMFAO!
“The Kremlin says the Polish regulator’s fine against Russia’s gas monopoly Gazprom is unlikely to have a more negative effect on relations with Poland…”
The mafiosi have a difficult time realizing that Poland doesn’t give a rat’s ass for a friendly relationship with a crime syndicate … and that’s very good. The Ruskies can go to Germanystan and Frogland to shed their tears there.
45 years of repression against Poland, and they are hurt because Poland hate their guts.
