Very informative YouGov research on the American choice of allies and opponents in WW3.
Most US citizens (61%) are convinced that war is inevitable and will happen in the next five to ten years. 71% of respondents are sure that the States will have to participate in the Third World War.
And it’s important how Americans see two potential rival camps. In their opinion, the opponents’ backbone will be: Russia (72%), China (69%), Iran (67%) and the DPRK (65%). No surprises here, the new axis of evil is in full force.
But the composition of the coalition of the US allies is quite unexpected: Great Britain (67%), Ukraine (58%), Israel (58%), France (57%), Germany (54%). The ten allies also include Australia, South Korea, Poland, Japan and the Philippines.
Until February 24, 2022, most of the respondents would most likely not be able to show where Ukraine is on the map. She is ally number 2 today.
The question of Ukraine’s subjectivity on the world stage, I think, can be considered closed. It’s a shame that we had to pay such a high price for this.
