The invented excuse – and the prepared counterattack

On the night of the 28th. on the 29th In December, Moscow spreads a serious claim:
Ukraine carried out a “terrorist attack” on Vladimir Putin’s residence in the Novgorod region with 91 drones.

Evidence? None.

Instead immediately follow threats, escalation rhetoric and the well-known formula: Russia will reconsider its “negotiating position”.

This is not a coincidence.
It’s a pattern that’s well known.

A déjà vu from 2022

This script has already been played.
In October 2022, Defense Minister Schoigu warned Western governments about an impending Ukrainian “dirty bomb”. Also back then: no evidence. Even back then: maximum medial weight.

Kyiv responded immediately and correctly: “This is a lie.“
With the hint, Russia is preparing for escalation itself.

Today we see the same principle – only more aggressive, tighter intertwined with diplomatic processes and more precise in time.

Why this story seems to be constructed

The allegedly attacked “residence” is not an active government seat, no command center, no publicly relevant place of residence. Putin has apparently not been staying there for years. There is no independent evidence that this place actually has operational or symbolic importance.

In other words :
There is no plausible motive for an attack by Ukraine.

That’s what makes history suspicious – except that the Kremlin regularly lies.

Timing is not a coincidence

The allegation emerges:

  • immediately after talks between the USA and Ukraine in Mar-a-Lago
  • parallel to a planned phone call between Trump and Putin
  • accompanied by public threats by Lavrov

During the supposedly “positive” phone call:

  • no details
  • not a personal Trump post
  • just a brief statement from the spokeswoman

At the same time, Russian authorities spread that Trump is “shocked”, “outraged” and has shown understanding of Moscow’s representation. Independent endorsements don’t exist. The quotes originate exclusively from Russian channels.

This is not information.
This is narrative building with authority borrowing.

The actual function of the claim

This story is not based on facts but on effect.

Russia creates a frame that allows:

  • To fail conversations without formally aborting them
  • to shift the responsibility to Ukraine
  • to declare possible attacks as “retaliation”

The inner logic is:

  • Ukraine allegedly attacks Russian state residence
  • Russia is “reacting”
  • Objectives of the reaction: Ukrainian government buildings, political infrastructure

Not as an escalation – but as a “response”.

Why Russia never wanted to negotiate seriously

The alleged drone strike is not the decisive one.
The crucial thing is: Russia has never been genuinely interested in negotiations.

For Vladimir Putin, “negotiation” is not a tool for conflict resolution, but a tactical tool to buy time, defer pressure or divert blame.

The strategic goal has remained unchanged since the beginning of the war:
the political subjugation of Ukraine.

Not a guarantee of safety.
Not neutrality.
Not a “zone of influence”.

Without control.

Why real negotiations don’t make sense for Putin

Putin still believes that this goal is militarily attainable – be it through:

  • Crushing superiority
  • political destabilization
  • western fatigue
  • a mood swing in the United States

As long as this hope exists, real negotiations are counterproductive in his view. Because they would assume something he wants to avoid:
the recognition of Ukrainian sovereignty.

He’s not ready for that.

Why Putin needs an excuse – especially against Trump

Putin doesn’t need a deal.
He needs an exit from conversations without being responsible himself.

This is central right across from Donald Trump.

Trump doesn’t think in terms of international law categories, but in deals, debt issues, and personal perception.
If talks fail, from Putin’s point of view, it is not Russia’s fault, but:

  • Ukraine’s
  • “Provocations”
  • “Terrorism”
  • alleged attacks on Russian symbols

The alleged attack on the residence provides this exact excuse.

What’s actually being prepared here

The most plausible explanation is not a Ukrainian attack, but a Russian framework for escalation.

A frame that allows:

  • Letting conversations explode without formally aborting
  • To sell attacks on Ukrainian government buildings as a “necessary response”
  • to blame for the failure of diplomacy in Kyiv

The attack is not explained – the counterattack is being prepared.

The actual red line:

Putin is not moved to serious negotiations by appeals, not by diplomacy and not by offers of talks.

He will only negotiate if he realises that:

  • the military path fails
  • the cost keeps rising
  • his goals are unattainable

Only a clear military blockade at the front can force this point.
In his view, everything else is a waste of time.

What we are observing here is not escalation by facts, but an ancient escalation by narrative.

Russia provides no evidence, immediately raises the tone, links the claim to ongoing diplomatic processes – and thus creates the condition to legitimize violence as the “answer”.

Putin is not looking for a way out of war.
He’s looking for an excuse to carry it on – without being blamed for it.Q

🇩🇪 We are seeing more and more clearly that Russia’s actions were and remain part of a plan aimed at the whole of Europe. 2026 could be decisive. — Merz said in his New Year’s address to the nation.

🔹Russia’s terrible war against Ukraine poses a direct threat to the freedom and security of Europe;

🔹Germany faces sabotage, espionage and cyberattacks every day, most of which may involve Russia;

🔹The rise of protectionism in the global economy is a serious challenge:
Europe’s dependence on imported raw materials is increasingly being used as an instrument of political pressure;

🔹The current partnership with the US has become more complex and requires Europe to be more independent.
For us Europeans, this means that we must defend and defend our interests much more strongly on our own;

🔹Europe must be guided by confidence, not fear. This year could be a turning point, a year in which Germany and Europe find new strength to return to decades of peace, freedom and prosperity.

COMMUNIST PROPAGANDA BANNED IN CZECHIA FROM JANUARY 1, 2026

Starting today, January 1, 2026, propaganda for communism and communist ideologies is punishable by law here in the Czech Republic. An amendment to Section 403 in the criminal bar prescribes imprisonment of between one and five years for offenses.

The law prohibits the spread of and support of communism and the use of its symbols. The Communist Party KS få, which left the Parliament’s lower house in the 2021 election, recently lost an attempt to get the Constitutional Court to overturn parts of the law amendment.

From now on, the spread of communist ideologies will be treated in the same way as Nazism – the two dominant totalitarian ideologies of the 20th century.

In the amended version of paragraph 403, which President Petr Pavel signed in mid-July, it is now explicitly stated that “movements aimed at suppressing human rights and freedoms” not only encompass national socialism but also communism. Anyone who promotes, supports or tries to establish such a movement can be sentenced to up to five years in prison.

Even the public use of communist symbols is now punishable. The hammer and the cut, the red star and e.g. portraits of Lenin, Klement Gottwald (Czechoslovakia’s communist leader in the 1940s) or Fidel Castro are not allowed if they are actively used in support of the communist movement. The same applies to flags, posters, T-shirts, banners or organization names that explicitly connect to an ideology that aims to suppress fundamental rights. Wearing sweaters with pictures of Che Guevara or the hammer and the cut is directly punishable. Singing “International”, public meetings with clearly ideological content or posts online that promote communism is also criminalized.

It is an excellent and necessary change in law that clarifies what history has shown: a system that suppresses freedom cannot be justified by tradition or nostalgia.

“The head of the Kremlin lives in a parallel world. Putin is someone different in the way he comes to power, it’s pure power, it has nothing to do with Russia’s prosperity, with the happiness of its people, with the peace and tranquility of its neighbors, his motivation is pure power. The best example to compare Putin to is Hitler. I believe that if a psychoanalyst deconstructs the character (Putin), we’ll discover lots of things”.

Putin has “lost the war, but he hasn’t understood it yet” and that the Russian army is “stranded in Ukraine like a whale being cut up piece by piece”.

2026 is for removing these two Dark Tetrad* pathological liars and morons causing great harm to peoples and systems of our planet.
These are Evil subhuman carcasses that deserve to rot.

  1. “The strategic goal has remained unchanged since the beginning of the war:
    the political subjugation of Ukraine.”

Grifter’s mark Trump actually does understand this. He said on live TV in 2023 that “Putin’s gonna take all Ukraine.”
The reason for his bullshit about “I will end the war in 24 hours” is that putler told him to say it. Both believed it because both believed that Ukraine could be forced to accept the putler terms of surrender.
If you don’t believe that, you only have to read Captain Cornflake’s “America First” surrender document from April 2024, which turned out to be “Russia First.”

  2. “…except that the Kremlin regularly lies.”

And the crook in the White House swallows russian excrement regularly.
