A special unit of the International Legion has been created under the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, it is already performing combat missions.
“Ukraine continues to form the International Defense Legion of Ukraine. To date, volunteers and veterans from 52 countries of the world have expressed a desire to join its ranks. Their number has already exceeded 20 thousand. These are predominantly experienced fighters who have participated in many peacekeeping campaigns in different parts of the world, ”the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine said.
The replenishment of the division of the International Legion continues.
