A GUR representative warned that these missiles are very difficult to use

Even if the US provides Ukraine with long-range Tomahawk missiles , it will be difficult to use them, since the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not have strategic aircraft from which to launch them.
This was reported by Vadym Skibitsky, Deputy Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense, in comments to The Guardian .
“They are not easy to use. The main carriers are warships or strategic bombers. We do not have strategic bombers,” a representative of the GUR explained the situation.
At the same time, Skibitsky stressed that it is important for Ukraine to carry out “kinetic” strikes on military facilities deep inside the Russian Federation. He noted that the Russians have moved strategic military bases more than 500 km from the border with Ukraine, so now they can only be hit with the help of drones with 5 kg of explosives.
He added that negotiations are currently underway with the US to lift restrictions on strikes with ATACMS missiles with a range of 300 km. ATACMS are equipped with a 500-kilogram explosive and can cause greater destruction:
“It is very important for us to obtain permission from the US to use long-range missiles. We want to destroy and disable them, according to NATO procedures,” Skibitsky explained the goal.
Providing Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles
The Washington Post recently reported that US President Donald Trump was considering providing Ukraine with long-range Tomahawk missiles. But the White House leader postponed a decision on this issue.
Yesterday, aviation expert Valery Romanenko said that it is unlikely that Trump will give Ukraine a weapon that could seriously harm Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. “We will not rely on Trump, because he would rather shoot himself than give something that would harm Putin,” Romanenko said.

Tomahawk missiles from Trump? Sure when pigs fly.
