The Ukrainian Defense Forces have launched a series of strikes deep inside Russia, hitting the Ryazansky oil refinery, a missile boat, and a minesweeper.

As stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram , yesterday and on the night of May 15, 2026, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a number of important objects of the Russian occupiers.

“The Ryazansky oil refinery in Ryazan (Ryazan region, Russia) was hit. A large-scale fire was recorded on the territory of the facility,” the report says.

The General Staff noted that the Ryazansky Refinery is one of the largest oil refining enterprises in the Russian Federation. In particular, the refining capacity is about 17 million tons of oil per year. The plant produces gasoline, diesel and jet fuel, which is used to meet the needs of the Russian occupation forces.

Other lesions

In addition, the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit a small missile boat and a minesweeper at the Kaspiysk base.

Enemy ammunition depots in the areas of Epifanivka and Rovenki in the Luhansk Oblast TOT were also hit.

Another strike was carried out on a material and technical equipment warehouse in Raihorodka in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region, as well as an enemy electronic warfare equipment warehouse in Dmytrivka in the occupied Donetsk region.

“Ukrainian soldiers also struck a coastal technical intelligence post of the Russian FSB in Mariupol on the Donetsk region’s TOT: the MR-232 “Bussol-S” radar station and an optoelectronic module were hit,” the report says.

In addition, an enemy fuel and lubricants warehouse was hit in Mariupol.
