On the night of December 5, explosions were heard in the Temryutsk port in the Krasnodar Territory of the aggressor country Russia. In addition, the facilities of the Syzran oil refinery in the Samara Region were also under attack.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that the attack was carried out by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. It is known that fires broke out at both facilities as a result of the strikes.

Temryutskyi Port
On the night of December 5, Ukrainian military personnel targeted the infrastructure of the Temryutsk seaport, which is located in the Sea of Azov. There were reports of a hit and a fire on the port territory. Information about the damage caused is being clarified.

The port complex handles various types of cargo, including liquefied hydrocarbon gas and other oil cargoes. The port’s website states that it handles general, bulk and liquid cargoes and leases production and storage space. The Russians have used it to deliver various cargoes to the occupying army.

According to Petro Andryushchenko, head of the Center for the Study of Occupation, the port was the main port that received the pirate fleet and re-registered cargoes of stolen coal and grain from the ports of Mariupol and Berdnyask.
Syzran Refinery
Ukrainian drones also visited the Syzran Oil Refinery. The enterprise processes from 7 to 8.9 million tons of oil annually and is also used to supply the Russian military, in particular, supplying fuel to airfields and military units.
Open data indicate that the Syzran Refinery supplies fuel to the Samara, Saratov, Penza regions and partly to the central regions of the Russian Federation. The enterprise has access to railway and river routes, which allows it to ship products within the country and export them via the Volga and Caspian ports. The plant produces gasoline, diesel, aviation kerosene, fuel oil and bitumen.
“The defense forces continue to take measures to undermine the military-economic potential of the Russian occupiers and force the Russian Federation to cease its armed aggression against Ukraine,” the General Staff said in a statement.

Despite warnings, many videos of the fire at the refinery have appeared online.
That same night, the “cotton” arrived at the Temryuk seaport in the Krasnodar Territory. According to local residents, the explosions occurred around midnight. A video of the fire that broke out after the impact was posted online.
The Krasnodar Territory operational headquarters confirmed the impact and fire.
