The General Staff confirmed the damage to oil and gas refineries in Russia: details of the operation

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed on May 13 the destruction of the oil and gas processing plants of the Russian occupiers. Both enterprises are important infrastructure facilities of the occupiers and are involved in ensuring the needs of the Russian military-industrial complex.

Destruction of the Yaroslavsky plant

On May 13, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the AVT primary oil processing facilities at the Yaroslavsky oil refinery in the Russian city of Yaroslavl.

“The plant’s products include gasoline, diesel and jet fuel and are an important component in ensuring the logistics of the enemy army,” the report says.

Destruction of the Astrakhan plant

In addition, the General Staff confirmed damage to the infrastructure of the Astrakhansky gas processing plant in the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation. It is noted that a fire broke out at the site.

The enterprise is an important element of the gas transportation and fuel infrastructure of the aggressor state and is involved in meeting the needs of the Russian military-industrial complex.

The extent of the damage caused to the occupiers is being clarified.

The General Staff recalled that the Defense Forces of Ukraine will continue to systematically strike enemy targets until the Russian Federation’s armed aggression against Ukraine is completely stopped.

As OBOZ.UA reported, on the night of May 13, Ukrainian drones attacked Taman, Krasnodar Territory. The target of the strike was a seaport that tranships various cargoes for export.
