The first units of military personnel from the DPRK, who were trained at eastern Russian training grounds, have already arrived in the combat zone of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
As reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, yesterday, October 23, they were spotted in the Kursk region.
According to intelligence estimates, about 12 thousand North Korean soldiers were transferred to Russia. Among them are 500 officers, including three Pyongyang generals.
“The soldiers are provided with ammunition, bedding, winter clothing and footwear, as well as hygiene. In particular, Moscow will allocate 50 meters of toilet paper and 300 grams of soap monthly to each North Korean, according to established standards.”
Foreign troops are being trained for war at five training grounds: Baranovsky (Ussuriysk), Donguz (Ulan-Ude), Yekaterinoslavsky (Yekaterislavka), 248th (Knyaze-Volkonskoye) and 249th (Sergeevka). Several weeks are given for coordination. Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia Yunus-Bek Yevkurov is responsible for monitoring the preparation and adaptation of troops.
