Two drones hit a primary oil refining installation, journalists found out.

A fire at one of Russia’s largest oil refineries in Volgograd was the result of a successful attack by SBU drones.

As informed sources told UNIAN, two drones hit a primary oil refining installation, without which the plant would lose a significant part of its production capacity.

“The SBU continues to systematically destroy the infrastructure that Russia uses to wage war in Ukraine. By striking oil refineries working for the Russian military-industrial complex, we not only cut off the logistics of fuel supplies for enemy equipment, but also reduce the filling of the Russian budget.” Russian refineries will continue,” the source said.

Russian oil refineries are under attack – as has already been reported

This is not the first attack by SBU drones. Thus, at the end of January, a sea terminal in the Russian Ust-Luga and an oil refinery in Tuapse were attacked. According to Reuters, these attacks reduced Russian exports of petroleum products by almost a third.
