The European Union wants to appoint its own negotiator with Vladimir Putin due to concerns about potential secret agreements between the U.S. and russia.

France and Italy have already secured the support of the European Commission and several other countries to create this new position.
The goal is to ensure that Ukraine’s potential NATO membership and its sovereignty remain inviolable.

One potential candidate for the role is Alexander Stubb, an experienced center-right diplomat who maintains a friendly relationship with U.S. President Donald J. Trump.
Another candidate is Kaja Kallas, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs.

🗣️ I agree that this position is NECESSARY due to the current US administration being a grouping of Russian propagandists and sympathizers.

Though the Budapest Memorandum,1994 commitments are binding on ALL United States Presidents — Donald J. Trump has ignored his contracted-for duties to protect Ukrainian lives and territory since taking office January 2025.

It is clear that Trump has sided with the terror state, Russia, an enemy adversary of USA.

All that we can do is move forward knowing Trump will not ever do what is “right”.

Ukraine, Americans, Europe and humanity must move forward realizing we need carry on putting into place reliable partnerships with integrity — that cannot be dissolved by the wrongdoings of Donald Trump.
