It is forbidden to land, take off or fly over the territory of the EU.

On February 28, the European Union banned Russian aircraft from landing, taking off or flying over its territory.

This is stated in a document published in the Official Journal of the EU.

“It is forbidden … to land, take off or fly over the territory of the Union,” it said.

This requirement applies to all aircraft operated by Russian carriers registered in the Russian Federation, or to any aircraft not registered in Russia but controlled by a Russian natural or legal person or organization.

Earlier it was reported that the EU has closed the skies to Russia, banned propaganda media and is ready to start arms supplies for the first time.

  1. It’s about time! No need to have any sort of relationship with Mordor until it gets rid of Hitler 2.0!
