During trading on the Moscow Exchange on January 26, the euro exchange rate rose above 90 rubles for the first time since July 2021. The dollar exchange rate exceeded 80 rubles for the first time since November 2020, Interfax reports.
As of 19:04 Moscow time, the euro exchange rate was 90.20 rubles (+1.4 rubles to the closing level of the previous day), the dollar exchange rate – 79.97 rubles (+1.34 rubles to the closing level of the previous trading session).
In turn, the price of futures for Brent crude on the exchange exceeded $90 per barrel for the first time since 2014.
