Strikes by Ukrainian drones on three ammunition depots deep in Russian territory caused the enemy very heavy losses.

Military commentator Denis Popovych said this on the air of Ukrainian Radio. He noted that these losses will not immediately affect the offensive of the invaders at the front, but in three weeks they will feel them. In addition, the destroyed arsenals slow down the enemy’s logistics, he is forced to reorient the railway, transport routes, and this is also a loss.

There was an attack on the 107th arsenal in Toropka, then there was an attack on the 23rd arsenal also in the Tver region. There was also an attack on the 719th artillery base in Tykhoretsk. The analyst noted that many assumed that 750 thousand units of ammunition were destroyed at the 107th arsenal. “This is a lot. After all, there were estimates that North Korea sent from 3 to 5 million units of ammunition, so this is a fourth part of 3 million and this is only what was destroyed at the 107th arsenal. If you add Tikhoretsk and the 23rd arsenal , then the losses are very large,” Popovych noted.

He also added that the destroyed warehouses provided some directions and now the Russians will have to look for other warehouses for this. “This is a reorientation of the railway, transport routes… Therefore, these are significant losses. In addition, the strikes will not end there,” the analyst said.

In addition, according to Popovych, the destroyed warehouses were strategic, so the consequences may be more far-reaching.

“… In 2-3 weeks, the question will arise as to where to get ammunition to supply to the front. They took it from those warehouses, but now they are gone and the Russians will have to solve an important problem – where to supply from now,” Popovych said and added , that the destruction of these arsenals has a more extensive, wide-ranging effect.

A strike on a warehouse in the Tver region

On the night of September 18, the city of Toropets, Tver region, was attacked by drones, as a result of which the military arsenal was destroyed.

Subsequently, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine said that the enemy stored missiles for the “Grad” salvo rocket system at the affected warehouse.

Defense Express later reported that 60-70 caches of 30,000 different ammunition were destroyed in the Tver region .
