The enemy struck the southern Odessa region overnight: there are casualties, fires broke out at power facilities.

One person sustained shrapnel wounds as a result of the massive overnight attack by occupiers on the Odessa region. He received the necessary medical attention.

According to OVA head Oleg Kiper, the enemy has been striking the southern region with attack drones, and despite the air defense forces’ efforts, there is damage to energy and transport infrastructure.

“The strikes caused fires at several power facilities, which were quickly extinguished by rescuers. Ukrzaliznytsia’s depot and administrative buildings were also damaged,” Kiper noted.

The regional State Emergency Service added that six pieces of equipment and nearly 30 rescuers were involved in the cleanup efforts.

The head of the OVA emphasized that the region’s critical infrastructure is running on generators, and safety checkpoints are open.
