The village of Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhia region has become one of the longest-held frontiers of the modern Russian-Ukrainian war. This rather large settlement is six kilometers long and about a kilometer wide. There are a significant number of houses in it that have remained intact, so our soldiers can hold their defenses.
It is on these buildings that the Russian occupation forces are exhausting their reserves. Military expert Pavlo Narozhnyi said this in an exclusive interview with OBOZ.UA.
“Although this settlement is called Mala Tokmachka, it is not a small village. It is 6 kilometers long and about a kilometer wide. The Konka River flows through it, which has distinguished itself more than once in this war. There are a large number of buildings in the village. There was a penitentiary in the village. So, this is not a small, but a large settlement,” he noted.
The expert explained that in order to capture any settlement, you need to go in and check every building to see if there are enemy soldiers in it. The Armed Forces of Ukraine currently have the opportunity to continue defending Malaya Tokmachka.
At the same time, the enemy has a problem with logistics, at least in the south, and a lack of men and ammunition to storm the village. Despite this, the Russians regularly report to their command about its “capture.”
“Russian commanders along the entire line are under enormous pressure. Roughly speaking, there is a battalion commander who was ordered to take Mala Tokmachka. He went there, carried out some actions, and reports to his brigadier: everything is cleared, there are no Ukrainian soldiers.
The brigadier reports to the division commander or corps commander. The division commander then goes to the army commander, and the army commander passes this report to Gerasimov’s desk. Gerasimov solemnly reports to Putin: Mala Tokmachka has been taken. But the next day we begin shelling Russian positions from Mala Tokmachka. They understand that no one took anything and that it was a lie from the very bottom to the very top. And they start everything anew again – they gave trendyuls to this battalion or sent a new one or even sent a new battalion altogether. And the assaults begin again,” Narozny said.
He noted that this is happening because there is a “huge layer of lies” throughout the Russian army. Everyone there is afraid to tell the truth, and therefore even in the general staff they do not have objective information.
According to the expert, Malaya Tokmachka will continue to be held by Ukrainian military forces.

As OBOZ.UA reported, the village of Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhia region has become one of the longest-held frontiers. Despite constant attacks by the occupiers, the Ukrainian military has continuously controlled the area for over 1,500 days.
The captured occupiers spoke about the significant losses of the Russian army during attempts to capture the village of Mala Tokmachka. According to them, assault groups and equipment were destroyed on the approaches to the settlement.

Normal generals would rethink their strategy and tactics when they fail to take a small village after years … YEARS … of useless, fruitless, and costly assaults. But not the russian potato generals. They repeat their mistakes perpetuo because they are potato generals. They got their positions because of who they blew or bribed, not because of their skills.
