JSC Ukrzaliznytsia launched a modernized electric train on the route Bakhmut – Kharkiv – Bakhmut.
This is a new route connecting Donetsk and Kharkiv regions.
“We are launching another new Bakhmut-Kharkiv-Bakhmut railway route, which will significantly improve the mobility of residents of eastern Ukraine. A modern modernized electric train, which was recently repaired at UZ JSC’s own enterprise, will run here, ”said Oleksandr Kamyshyn, Chairman of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia.
The electric train consists of 8 cars, which have seats with improved ergonomic properties, modern lighting, sound and visual notification system for passengers.
The train is also adapted to transport low-mobility groups and has space for bicycles. All works on modernization of the electric train were performed at PJSC Kyiv Electric Car Repair Plant .
From Bakhmut the train №7096 / 7057 departs daily at 11:25 and arrives in Kharkiv at 15:28. He leaves at 18:53 and arrives in Bakhmut at 23:00. The train also stops at Sal, Siversk, Yampil, Lyman, Svyatogorsk Izyum, Osnova and others.
In addition, when drawing up the schedule, Ukrzaliznytsia provided a number of convenient transfers. So, in the direction of Balakliya, Izyum, Svyatogorsk, Lyman, Bakhmut you can change from the following trains:
- №886 Divination – Sumy – Kharkiv, arrival at 17:04;
- №724 (Intercity +) Kyiv – Kharkiv, arrival at 18:11;
- №6025 Kozacha Lopan – Kharkiv, arrival at 18:30;
- №6554 Kupyansk-Uzl – Kharkiv, arrival at 18:36.
In the direction of Lozova, Slovyansk, Kupyansk, Rubizhne, Lysychansk, Popasna you can change from the train №886 Vorozhba – Sumy – Kharkiv, arrival at 17:04.
