The DShV group, units of the Azov National Guard and the BPS forces defeated the Kamchatka marines in the Dobropil direction.

This morning, October 16, the enemy, using military equipment and units of the 40th Separate Marine Brigade of the Marine Corps of the russian Federation, attempted to break through our defenses in the Dobropil direction with the aim of capturing the settlements of Shakhove and Sofiivka.

During the offensive, the enemy deployed 1 tank and 13 armored combat vehicles with landing forces.

Thanks to the coordinated joint actions of military units and subdivisions of the Airborne Assault Forces Group, the 1st Corps of the Azov National Guard, the crews of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the soldiers of the Special Operations Center “A” of the Security Service of Ukraine, the enemy’s intentions were completely thwarted.

Units of Russian marines from Kamchatka were hit by fire from missile troops and artillery, in particular HIMARS MLRS and other artillery systems, as well as strikes from various types of unmanned systems. The fire was coordinated by soldiers of the DShV, SBS units and soldiers of the Central Military District “A” of the Security Service of Ukraine.

As a result of the defensive battle, the defenders of Ukraine destroyed and damaged 1 tank, 8 units of armored vehicles, and inflicted significant losses on the enemy’s manpower.

The enemy offensive failed. The situation in the direction remains under the full control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
