The deputy chairman of the Odessa Regional Council ended up in the Peacemaker base: “denies Russian aggression”

Deputy Chairman of the Odesa Regional Council Vadim Shkarovskoy ended up in the database of the Peacemaker Center, which studies crimes against the foundations of Ukraine’s national security.

As reported on the website of the center, a politician representing the pro-Russian party “Opposition Platform – For Life” in the regional council committed actions aimed at undermining the defense capability of Ukraine. He also denies Russian aggression.

It should be noted that on February 16, at an extraordinary session of the Odessa Regional Council, Vadim Shkarovsky compared territorial defense with “gang formations” .

“Today, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that all military units have completed their planned exercises and are returning to their places of deployment. And we are again creating some associations. We went through this in 2014-2015, when such “associations” squeezed their business from someone and decided for themselves who was their internal enemy and who was not. These are such gangs, otherwise I can’t name them, ”he said.

Despite this, the majority of deputies voted for the necessary measures to organize territorial defense.

Also in the database of “Peacemaker” Shkarovsky ‘s past “merits” are listed . In particular, he called the Revolution of Dignity a “coup d’état”, quoted Goebbels and spread fake news about the death toll in the fire in the Odessa House of Trade Unions on May 2, 2014.

  1. I see the news about growing tensions and how it seems as if an invasion is only hours away.
I still hope he withdraw this insanity.

Strange fellow, if he wan’t to avoid Nato expansion he could have try to offer ukrainians something better.

Now he act like the russian leader in their worst nightmares.
    Smart, really. 🤪

  2. “He also denies Russian aggression.”
There is only one thing to do; take him out to Donbas and tie him to a stake on the line of contact. I think he would change his opinion rather quickly.
