Ukrainian operatives successfully target satellite equipment near Tyotkino, striking a blow to russia’s military communication capabilities.
On January 17, 2025, operatives of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine conducted a successful strike on russian position near Tyotkino, located in russia’s Kursk region. The operation targeted critical satellite communication equipment.
Using FPV drones, Ukrainian forces neutralized devices enabling russian access to the Yamal-401, Yamal-402, and Yamal-300K satellites, which function in the Ka-band frequency range. This technology is crucial for military communication and reconnaissance.
Additionally, the assault inflicted significant fire damage on the enemy’s personnel shelter at the site, further disrupting operations.
Ukraine keep poking russia in the eyes. No wonder their oil terminals are on fire. I think this relentless attack on the air defences is going to result in some huge strikes once Ukraine have produced enough missiles.
I hope Zelensky has a plan to deal with the millions of russian refugees that will want to pour into Ukraine when their toilet breaks. He will also need a plan to occupy Belarus because that Soviet fossil is going down with Vladolf.
