Tonight, Ukrainian defenders destroyed a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber. This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that the enemy plane was eliminated on the territory of the Kursk region.

“A Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber was destroyed by the forces and means of the anti-aircraft missile forces of the Air Force of Ukraine tonight in the territory of the Kursk region, during the execution of a combat mission,” the message reads.

The General Staff emphasized that the work to eliminate the occupiers, their equipment and weapons continues unceasingly. 

At the same time, the “Real War” Telegram channel, which monitors the course of hostilities, claims that the Su-34 was destroyed at night in the Kursk region. The channel publishes a video showing an allegedly enemy plane on fire.
