Air defense of the Russian invaders in the Ukrainian Crimea suffered significant losses.

Tonight, the Defense Forces of Ukraine successfully struck one S-400 anti-aircraft missile division of the occupiers in the Dzhankoya area, as well as two enemy S-300 anti-aircraft missile divisions near Chornomorskyi and Yevpatoria. This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“None of our launched missiles was intercepted by the enemy’s “highly effective” anti-aircraft defense. In particular, in the specified areas, after the strikes by Ukrainian rocket launchers, the immediate shutdown of the radars of the S-300/S-400 complexes was recorded,” the message says.

In addition, as noted, further detonation of ammunition was noted in all three areas of the starting positions of the anti-aircraft missile divisions of the Russian Federation.

“Thanks to the successful combat work of the Defense Forces, the air defense of the Russian invaders in the Ukrainian Crimea suffered significant losses,” the General Staff emphasized.

Strikes by the Armed Forces against the occupiers

As UNIAN reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine recently hit the S-300/400 air defense system in the Belgorod region . The strike was carried out using the HIMARS anti-aircraft missile system on June 1-2. The Russian channel ASTRA assumed that it was an attack on the Korochan district of the Belgorod region on June 2.

Then the place of deployment of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation was attacked, and several units of military equipment were burned. 

On the night of Monday, June 10, explosions were reported in Crimea occupied by Russia. Traffic on the Crimean Bridge was blocked. TV channels reported that  4 rockets flew at a ground object near Yevpatoria “on an almost vertical trajectory” .
