According to the politician, he conducted negotiations on nuclear disarmament with the Chinese and Russian sides during his first term.

US presidential candidate from the Republican Party, Donald Trump, said that during his previous term in office, he allegedly almost reached an agreement with China and Russia on the joint elimination of nuclear weapons.

“Nuclear weapons are the biggest threat we have in the world today. It’s not global warming where the oceans rise 1/8 of an inch over the next 500 years,” Trump said in an interview on FLAGRANT’s YouTube channel .

As the Republican noted, nuclear war is currently the biggest threat to the world, and five countries possess nuclear potential. Soon they will have more, and the US must not allow this, the politician emphasized.

“We were close to an agreement on getting rid of nuclear weapons. That would be so good. I’m talking about Russia, ourselves and China. Then we would get everyone else involved in this to decisively get rid of the nuclear potential,” Trump said.
