Germany is responsible for the restoration of tanks.

12 out of 20 German-made Leopard 1A5 tanks already transferred to Ukrainian troops from Denmark have serious or minor deficiencies , the country’s Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen said, as reported by the state television station  TV 2 .

As noted, a number of minor faults were found in ten tanks that are already on our territory. Ukrainian specialists are now doing the repairs.

In addition, in the batch of ten Leopard 1A5s provided that still remain in Poland, two more tanks have significant malfunctions. German teams should begin repairing them next week, since our country does not yet have trained mechanics to fix such defects.

Denmark sends such equipment to Ukraine as part of cooperation with Germany and the Netherlands. Germany is responsible for the restoration of tanks.

      • Its is looking more and more like nations are giving Ukraine old faulty equipment and then claiming they donated the stuff at full price to make it look like they gave a lot and did something to help.

        • I really hope to think that this was not done on purpose. Unfortunately a lot of sloppy and 💩ty things have been happening. It should be looked into and find out why this was allowed to happen and take steps to not let it happen again.

  1. That’s embarassing for both countries. After so many months of preparing the delivery, this? That’s not the way to support Ukraine. The brave defenders need reliable weapons!

  2. I take a different approach. Denmark, the Netherlands and our other friends have been at the forefront of helping us. Hey..shit happens especially 8n war. The fact Denmark fessed up to it speakers to their character. 7nlike the jack asses who have a big talk and no action like Germany etc .
