The Czech minister claims that their initiative reduces the effectiveness of Russian artillery by five times.

The Czech Republic is ready to supply ammunition to Ukraine every month until September, said the head of the country’s foreign ministry, Jan Lipavsky.

According to him, there are currently necessary funds for this within the framework of the “Czech initiative” introduced at the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Radio Liberty writes .

“We managed to secure funding, thanks to which this initiative now has enough resources for monthly supplies of ammunition to Ukraine until September. This is thanks to contributions from Canada, Norway, the Netherlands and Denmark,” Lipavsky said.

The Czech minister claims that their initiative reduces the effectiveness of Russian artillery by five times and has helped change the ratio of Ukrainian and Russian shells from 1:10 to 1:2.
