The country’s president noted that Norway contributed the last amount.
Czech President Petr Pavel said that the initiative to purchase ammunition for Ukraine has been fully secured. 18 countries will take part in the purchase of 800 thousand units of artillery ammunition.
According to him, ammunition should be in Ukraine in the coming weeks,

“As of this morning (Thursday, March 7 – UNIAN), we have collected the total amount for the purchase of all ammunition, that is, 800,000 units,” ČT24 quotes the President of the Czech Republic .
He noted that the next step would be to conclude a memorandum with the Czech government and establish mutual relations.
“Then, from the Czech side, information about the schedule and how we will act will be sent to all supplying countries,” Pavel indicated.
At the same time, the politician did not want to name the amounts that individual states contributed.
“It would probably be unfair to those countries that have made contributions if we had not discussed this with them. Now everything depends on the skill of our companies and the Ministry of Defense to speed up the whole process,” the Czech leader added.
According to Prime Minister Petr Fiala, Ukraine needs support now more than ever.
“I am pleased that we can work with so many partners around the world to provide the assistance needed. I can guarantee that hundreds of thousands of rounds of ammunition will be delivered this year,” the Prime Minister said.

Nice! I hope that getting the ammo to Ukraine won’t take as long as collecting the funds for them. Ukraine needs them ASAP.
Thank You Norway, for putting this over the finish line!!!💙💛
