The Council of Europe passed an important decision on a special tribunal regarding the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba , reported this on the X network .

According to the decision, the Secretary General of the Council of Europe will prepare documents that will facilitate consultations in the Core Group and prepare a draft agreement between Ukraine and the Council of Europe on the establishment of the tribunal. In addition, the decision envisages further work on a possible additional agreement related to the organization of support for the tribunal, its funding and other issues.

Kuleba welcomed the decision and expressed his gratitude to all members of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe who supported it.

“This is an important practical step on the way to the creation of a special tribunal. Each such step brings us closer to the inevitable punishment for the crime of aggression against Ukraine,” the statement reads.

According to the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, specialists are now actively working to ensure that the tribunal delivers fair justice.

“This is of crucial importance not only for all Ukrainians who suffered as a result of Russian aggression, but also for all peoples who aspire to live in a peaceful and safe world,” the minister added.

  1. That looks promising. I think Germany should supply the necessary space for the tribunal. In Nuremberg! 😈
