Despite the high concentration of air defense assets in the Moscow region, Ukrainian drones still reached their target.

Ukraine’s “long-range sanctions” have reached the Moscow region, clearly telling the Russians that their state must end the war .
This was emphasized in the Telegram channel by President Volodymyr Zelensky, who noted that “our responses to Russia’s protracted war and attacks on our cities and communities are completely fair.”
“This time, Ukrainian long-range sanctions have reached the Moscow region, and we are clearly telling the Russians: their state must end its war,” the head of state emphasized.
He added that Ukrainian drone and missile manufacturers continue their work. “I am grateful to the SBU and all the Defense Forces of Ukraine for their accuracy. The distance from the state border of Ukraine is more than 500 km. The concentration of Russian air defense in the Moscow region is the largest. But we are overcoming it,” Zelensky emphasized.
Attack on the Moscow region
As reported, on the night of May 17, drones struck the Elma research and production complex in the city of Zelenograd, Moscow Region. This complex covers an area of over 60,000 square meters and is a place where Russian companies involved in the development and production of microelectronics operate.
The Russian Defense Ministry said 556 drones were shot down over the country, including the Moscow region, overnight and into the morning. Russian authorities said at least three people were killed in the strikes and 12 others were injured in other drone strikes.

I’ve been telling Zelensky to attack and burn down Moscow for over two years now. I hope he goes full speed ahead to do so. And don’t forget to add St. Petersburg to the party.
