United States must continue to support Ukraine to prevent the escalation of Kremlin aggression.

The leader of the Democratic minority in the House of Representatives, Hakeem Jeffries, believes that the US  will have to intervene in the war against the Russian Federation “not only with American money, but also with the military” if Ukraine falls.

“We cannot allow Ukraine to fall, because if it does, there is a significant possibility that America will have to intervene in the conflict — not just with our money, but with our military personnel,” he said in an interview with  CBS News .

According to the congressman, the United States should continue to support Ukraine in order to prevent the escalation of the Kremlin’s aggression. Jeffries reminded that first the Russian Federation invaded Georgia, and only then occupied the Ukrainian Crimea.

“Should we believe that in the face of this kind of consistent aggression, that if we allow Vladimir Putin to succeed in Ukraine, he will stop only in Ukraine? Of course not,” the politician emphasized.

Probable dispatch of Western troops to Ukraine 

At the end of February, French President Emmanuel Macron said that the European Union is discussing  sending Western troops to Ukraine . At the same time, the leaders of the countries themselves renounced such ideas.

The other day, Macron said that they would consider sending  ground troops  into Ukraine if the Russian invading army broke through the front line.

Recently, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Great Britain, David Cameron,  spoke about sending NATO troops to Ukraine . According to him, Macron’s idea is not valid.
