American journalist Michael Weiss suggested that CIA Director John Ratcliffe may have arrived in Moscow to warn the Russian leadership that further escalation against European countries and NATO is unacceptable. Weiss wrote this on the social media platform X, UNN reports.
According to Weiss, the possible visit by the CIA chief may be linked to U.S. intelligence information that Washington shared with Poland, the Baltic states, and Scandinavia.
“If I had to place a bet, I would say that Ratcliffe is in Moscow to warn about Russian escalation against Europe/NATO,” Weiss wrote.
The journalist drew attention to a noticeable increase in the number of suspected sabotage operations linked to Russia’s GRU, as well as activity by Russian drones in Europe. He mentioned Germany, Bulgaria, and Romania among the countries where similar incidents had been recorded.
In Weiss’s view, the CIA director’s possible trip is unlikely to be related exclusively to potential prisoner exchanges.
“You don’t need the CIA director for prisoner exchanges,” he noted.
Weiss also described Ratcliffe as one of the most pro-Ukrainian members of the U.S. administration and said that he had played a role in assisting Kyiv with carrying out long-range strikes. The journalist drew a parallel with the events of 2021, when then-CIA Director William Burns traveled to Moscow on the eve of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
“The context here is important: Bill Burns traveled to Moscow in 2021 to warn Putin against… invading Ukraine,” Weiss wrote.
We remind you
The American Boeing C-17 that transported John Ratcliffe to Moscow departed from Vnukovo for Riga. Before the visit, the United States asked Ukraine to suspend strikes.

Why would he need a huge C17 to do that? They have secure lines to contact the scum.
Possibly hi tech weapons and cash to help Krasnov’s controller?
It unfortunately can’t be ruled out.
Maybe air defences to protect oil refineries. I wouldn’t rule anything out.
Me neither F1.
Unfortunately:
Ukraine will find out. If it is air defences, the shit will hit the fan back in the US.
Off topic: Trump keeps fucking with Canada, saying Canada is not a real country and wants to rename lake Ontario to ‘lake of America’. Seems we’re sandwiched between two HitlerZ.
Just reading that Dolly Parton died today.
Yeah. Very sad. A Southern icon. 😭
Hey God –
We said Donny, not Dolly!
TDS…take your meds.
I saw a post from Doug Ford saying that The people of Canada will be giving serious consideration to changing the name of Lake Michigan to Lake Epstein.
😂 😂 😂
In that interview I posted recently from 2014, Russian vermin Michael Savage was interviewing his close friend Krasnov.
Krasnov allowed Savage to boss him, which he never allows anyone else to do.
Savage laid into Canada with a deranged attack, which probably influenced Krasnov.
Krasnov attempted a mild criticism of putler for invading Crimea. Savage shouted him down, saying “it’s in his sphere of influence, not ours and I don’t wanna start WW3.”
Savage absolutely hates Ukraine and was and probably remains a strong influence on Krasnov.
A shipment of dildos to calm downe the situation? 😂
Wildberries are low on stock, or it could be a takeaway meal for Steven Seagal. 🤣
Another posted article mentioned that “a US diplomatic motorcade was also spotted at the Moscow airport.”
Maybe Ratcliffe wanted to bring his own limousines, for security reasons? That would make sense.
It is pretty common for military transports to transport military 😉
“American journalist Michael Weiss suggested that CIA Director John Ratcliffe may have arrived in Moscow to warn the Russian leadership that further escalation against European countries and NATO is unacceptable.”
But murdering Ukrainian children IS acceptable eh you bastards?
I don’t trust this administration one single bit, thus I don’t think they are telling the truth about this trip. We are a banana republic that serves mafia land, unfortunately, and this CIA geek is just a pathetic gofer.
It didn’t work out too well for Ukraine the last time the CIA director visited mafia land.
No, it didn’t. But Ukraine is better off now than back then.
According to the professor, Ratcliffe was only there an hour or so before heading back to Riga. It must have been something very important. Just long enough to unload the plane?
Just long enough to tell the Moskali we know they’re sharing intel with Iran and deliberately sending drones into NATO territory. Then they deny everything and CIA says ok we’re leaving…
