Meanwhile there are quite a few interesting developments are happening in Russia right now.

– For over a year now I have been forecasting utilities collapses all over Russia. No, I am not oracle 🙂
It’s just Russian utilities are built on Western technologies and products (pumps, generators and turbines). They need to be maintained and fixed properly. Hey, they consist of part that move very fast!

Well, it has begun. Novosibirsk, 2 days ago 640 buildings have left without heating after an accident at a heat pumping station. Heating pipes also burst in some apartment buildings. That information was reported the city administration (which means it most likely was sugarcoated).

According to the forecast of local meteorologists, on October 30, the air temperature in Novosibirsk is + 2 degrees, at night it is expected to cool down to -1 degrees. Usually it is much colder but even when warm, the utilities fail. So this is the start of the FAIL season.

-An extremely important development that deserves a separate investigation is the that has broken out BETWEEN RUSSIAN CENTRAL BANK AND RUSSIA’S MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX. And there are first victims already.

Looks like the iron woman Elvira Nabuilina starts losing influence. She’s facing hostile actions from the MIC of Russia headed by Putin’s old friend Sergey Chemezov. She has been able to fend off the attacks – until now. Her most trusted first deputy Kseniaya Udaeva, the woman in charge of Russia’s Central Bank (she was the one doing all the work), Russia’s smartest economist with a PhD in economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology QUIT her position today.

Most likely was forced to quit. It doesn’t matter really, she’s out of the job. She quit soon after another key member of Nabuilina’s team Kirill Tremasov quit his position at the central Bank.

Nabuilina is in trouble. The question that remains is will she lose her job, or freedom as well, or else? Popcorn is ready, I keep watching.

-Another news is butter and eggs. Russians love butter. But not all can afford it now. Butter prices are skyrocketing. The minister of agriculture is very angry at butter producers. October 23rd, he called an emergency industry leaders meeting and threatened them to keep butter prices low. I wonder how they will be able to do that? On top of that, first imports of butter have started arriving to Russia from Turkey. First 20 000 metric tons.

This is a developing crisis (a serious one) and a shame at the time. I’ve been talking of how Russians cannot create own technologies, say gas turbines or car engines and transmittions. For goodness sake, they can’t even produce butter! Learn how to make butter first and stop buying it from Turkey!

The same goes about eggs too. The egg crisis is back. The prices have been sharply increasing in
Recent weeks. I have a feeling the Turkish will be shipping eggs to Russia too.
