Belarusian blogger Sergei Tikhanovsky, who is in custody in Minsk, for the first time in four months was able to talk with his wife, leader of the Belarusian opposition Svetlana Tikhanovskaya.
“A telephone conversation between Svetlana and Sergei Tikhanovsky has just taken place. This is the first conversation in 4 months, in 134 days, ”Tikhanovskaya said in a telegram.
During the conversation, they talked about the children and the detention of Sergei Tikhanovsky in prison, Franak Vyachorka, adviser to Svetlana Tikhanovskaya , told Radio Liberty. Tikhanovsky urged his wife to “be tougher” and continue to meet with world leaders. Vyachorka believes that during the conversation someone was next to Tikhanovsky.
