The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the Saki airfield in Crimea: the control tower was hit

A repeater for controlling strike UAVs was also hit.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine successfully struck the control tower of the Saki military airfield , located in the Novofedorivka area. According to a message from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram, on August 12, the Defense Forces of Ukraine inflicted a series of fire strikes on enemy military facilities in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukrainian Crimea.

“In the Novofedorivka area, a control tower on the territory of the Saki airfield was hit,” the report states.

In addition, in the Chornomorske area, a repeater designed to control Geran/Gerbera strike UAVs was hit. As explained by the General Staff, the destruction of these facilities weakens the enemy’s ability to ensure the functioning of the military airfield and control strike drones.
