On Wednesday, January 8, Ukrainian military personnel struck the command post of the 8th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Russian Federation in the Donetsk region. The occupiers used this building to attack our defenders and civilians.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The command post was located in the city of Khartsyzk.

“Today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a precision strike on the command post of the 8th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Russian Federation in the city of Khartsyzk, Donetsk region. Russian occupation forces used this building to coordinate attacks against the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the civilian population, in particular the residents of Kurakhovo,” the report says.

According to the General Staff, the Defense Forces took all necessary measures to minimize risks to civilians.

As a reminder, on January 7, our Armed Forces struck a command post of the Russian occupiers in the Kursk region. As a result of the attack, marines from the 810th Marine Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet were injured. The command post was located in the area of ​​the settlement of Bila, the district center of the Bila district of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.

As OBOZ.UA reported, on December 25, the Defense Forces launched a missile strike on Lgov, Kursk Oblast, Russia. The building of a sugar refinery where Russian military personnel were stationed was attacked.
