The Ukrainian military used tanks to eliminate Russian invaders who had entered the streets of Avdiivka.
A Ukrainian soldier showed the combat operation of tanks on one of the streets of Avdiivka in the Sniper Speaks Telegram group.
“In Avdiivka, during the assault, our tank destroyed a group of invaders at close range,” the serviceman said.
To neutralise them, a Ukrainian tank had to open fire at close range near the houses with Russian soldiers.
“It is difficult in Avdiivka. They are attacking the residential area from house to house. Our tanks are eliminating Russian invaders well, often at close range,” the military said.

The Ukrainian General Staff said that in the Avdiivka sector, Ukrainian troops continued to hold back Russians who kept trying to surround Avdiivka.
“Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 26 attacks in the Avdiivka sector over the last day,” the General Staff said.
At the same time, Russian troops continue trying to assault the village of Stepove, which is located near Avdiivka.

Invaders are trying to gain a foothold in the village and completely occupy it, but Ukrainian Defense Forces do not allow them to do so.
Evacuations of civilians continue in the city as the humanitarian situation deteriorates.

As previously reported, in January, Russian invasion forces intensified their activities in the Avdiivka sector and sent columns of armored vehicles for the assault.
