In temporarily occupied Melitopol, Zaporizhia region, on the night of May 24, 
missiles of the Defense Forces of Ukraine attacked a building used by employees of the Russian FSB. It was partially destroyed, and there were casualties among the occupants.

The consequences of the strike were reported by the Telegram channel “Spy’s Dossier“. An anonymous author published a report on this operation by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Thursday, May 28.

What is known about the shelling of military targets in Melitopol?

It is noted that the defenders of Ukraine used two British-French-made Storm Shadow/SCALP air-launched cruise missiles for the attack.

The FSB building was partially destroyed. The Russian invaders prohibited access to it, as well as taking photos/videos.

According to “Spy Dossier“, two employees were killed and two more were injured.

In the first two days after the shelling, only representatives of the Russian Federal Security Service were involved in sorting through the rubble – they searched for and seized “sensitive documentation” that had survived the flight.

In addition, the day before, another facility of the Russian occupation forces was hit in the territory of Melitopol, but there are no details about this strike yet.

– The Kremlin’s campaign to recruit contract soldiers voluntarily is facing a serious crisis under the pressure of huge losses at the front. Against this background, debates are heating up in the Russian Federation about the need for a new wave of forced mobilization of reservists. In addition to the losses, the situation for the enemy is complicated by the fact that Ukraine was able to turn the tide of hostilities in the technological sphere, analysts at the Institute for the Study of War said.

– The head of the British intelligence agency, the Government and Communications Center, Annie Kist-Butler, recently stated that almost half a million Russian soldiers have been eliminated since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
