Over the past few weeks, Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters have regained control over approximately 16 square kilometers of territory in the northern part of Pokrovs’ka (Donetsk region). Despite intense pressure from the occupiers, the Ukrainian military continues to hold the defense.
This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, on his Telegram channel. He also spoke about the situation on other parts of the front.
Ukrainian fighters have liberated 16 square kilometers of territory in Pokrovsk. At the same time, the operational situation on the front remains difficult, but the Ukrainian army is holding its ground. On some days, the number of clashes reaches almost 300.
“Our active actions in the Pokrovsko-Myrnograd agglomeration area continue. In Pokrovsko itself, in the last few weeks we were able to regain control of about 16 sq. km in the northern part of the city. Logistics in Myrnograd is complicated, but continues,” Oleksandr Syrskyi said in a statement.

According to Syrsky, the Russian army is conducting offensive operations along almost the entire front line. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding back the occupiers and conducting active defense.
In November, the Russian army, having suffered significant losses, was able to capture certain territories.
“Russian propaganda statements about the pace of the Russian troops’ advance do not correspond to reality,” the commander-in-chief said.
No territorial losses were recorded in the Kupyansky, Kostyantynivsky, and Prydniprovsky operational areas. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to strike at the enemy, in particular with the help of DeepStrike weapons, artillery, missile forces, and electronic warfare systems.
In addition to combat operations, as stated in Syrsky’s message, the improvement of the troop command system, the transition to a corps structure, the rotation of brigades, the development of electronic warfare and air defense, as well as the restoration of the technical readiness of weapons and military equipment are ongoing.
OBOZ.UA previously reported that special forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate continue to undermine the enemy in the hottest direction of the front – Pokrovsky. There, our fighters conducted effective assault operations, inflicting significant losses on the occupiers.
We also recall that recently, Special Operations Forces fighters struck enemy deployments in the Pokrovsky direction. Enemy ammunition depots also came under targeted attack.
Sixteen square km might not sound like much, and it isn’t, but this city should’ve fallen weeks ago already. Yet, the Ukrainians are not only not losing this city, they are even regaining land. Remember that the cockroaches are doing everything possible to capture Pokrovsk.
In the time it has taken mafia land to come even close to capturing this town, the German army had crossed Ukraine into russia, and were driven back out again during WW2.
Indeed, the advances that the mafia army is achieving in this war is slower than the flow of molasses in the dead of a Siberian winter.
