The breakthrough was made by the fighters of the 95th Separate Assault Polish Brigade.
Units of the 95th Separate Assault Polish Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces of Ukraine broke through another section of the Russian border in the Kursk region .
As reported in the tg channel of the brigade, this is already the second successful operation to break through the Russian border since the beginning of the Kursk operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The fighters also posted a video with footage of the first battles during the new breakthrough.
“The video shows the construction of passages in engineering barriers, the entry of airborne assault units into enemy territory, and the first battles in the border strip, where DSHV tankers “dismantle” the enemy’s stronghold,” the message says.
The paratroopers also emphasized that “there will be more.”

An interesting fact. On Wednesday, the battle for Kursk 2024 will exceeded the length of the battle of Kursk in WW2. I doubt we will hear too much about this comparison from the mouthpieces that keep reminding everyone how the mighty Soviet army defeated the Nazis in Kursk 1943.
