On June 13, the ammunition of the Solntsepek heavy flamethrower system exploded in Shebekino, Belgorod region of the Russian Federation . As a result, three Russian servicemen died, reports ASTRA with reference to sources in the emergency services of the region.

“The night before, on June 13, a powerful explosion rang out in Shebekino, Belgorod Region, local media reported that a Russian bomb might have fallen on the city. Later, the governor wrote that “an explosion occurred on the outskirts of the city of Shebekino. The causes of the incident are being established.” According to him, no one was injured, 10 private homes and one car were damaged,” the message reads.

“As a result of the explosion, at least three Russian servicemen were killed. The reasons for the explosion are unknown, but according to preliminary data, it was “involuntary”.
