Territory swap, guarantees for Ukraine and Putin’s genes: Trump made a statement before Alaska

The US President stressed that Russia will face new sanctions if there is no peace agreement.

During the meeting in Alaska, the issue of exchanging territories will be discussed in particular, but Ukraine will make specific decisions on this matter. This was stated by US President Donald Trump in a comment to journalists on board the presidential plane heading to Alaska.

“[The issue of swapping territories] will be discussed, but I have to let Ukraine make that decision. And I think they will make the right decision. But I am not here to negotiate for Ukraine. I am here to bring everyone to the table. If we make progress, I will discuss it,” Trump said.

According to Trump, the United States will provide Ukraine with certain security guarantees jointly with European countries, but this will not be done under the auspices of NATO.

Trump was also asked to comment on Russia’s strikes on Ukraine. To this, the US president suggested that Putin was trying to strengthen his position ahead of the negotiations.

“He’s trying to create a scene. In his mind, it’s going to help them get a better deal. In fact, it’s hurting them. But in his mind, it’s going to help them get a better deal if they can keep killing. Maybe it’s just his genes. But he thinks it gives him negotiating power. I think it’s hurting him, but I’ll talk to him about that later,” Trump said.Read also:

At the same time, the US President expressed a certain optimism regarding today’s negotiations with Putin.

“There is mutual respect on both sides. And I think something will come out of it. I noticed that he is bringing a lot of businessmen from Russia. And that is good. I like that because they want to do business, but they will not do business until we sort out the war,” Trump said.

At the same time, the American president recalled that the Russian economy is going through difficult times, so if the negotiations do not produce results, Russia will have even bigger problems.

“There will be very serious economic consequences. I’m not doing this for my health, okay? I’m doing this to save a lot of lives. So there will be very serious economic consequences,” Trump said, answering a question about the possibility of new sanctions against Russia.

  1. To repeat : a swap means trading one item belonging to one party for another of equal value that belongs to another party.
You can’t “swap” something that is yours for something that is also your property.
Krasnov is just dressing up “land for peace” in lying, deceptive language that he thinks the magaputler shitheads will like.

    • ‘You can’t “swap” something that is yours for something that is also your property. You can’t “swap” something that is yours for something that is also your property.’

Ukraine is not in control of these territories and Zelensky already admitted, months after Zaluzhny, that the AFU is not able to retake these territories. Shall we all continue to argue about principles and watch more innocent lives being wasted. As long as it’s not your son, brother or father it’s easy to talk that way, Sir.

      • As stated previously, I am in favour of giving putler NOTHING.
I always caveat that with “if the majority of Ukrainians want to trade land for peace, I will support them.”
But there’s no sign of that.
The frontline soldiers have made their position clear on this matter.
What trumputler want is surrender of land, followed by an election in which a putlerist candidate will emerge. Probably someone like Arestovych.

        • I started with Ukraine in 2003 because i love Ukrainians. If i can get them into the Empire even at the expense of some territory – i will agree. I could also have come for Angola or Hungary, but i only care about people – period!

      • “the AFU is not able to retake these territories. ”

Ukraine can agree to a ceasefire, to stop the loss of life, and attempt to reclaim their land through political means. Admitting they can’t reclaim it militarily doesn’t necessarily mean giving away ownership.

  2. Russian journalists on their way to Alaska were served Chicken Kyiv on board……………………..assholes.

  3. Ukraine have already made their position clear, and so have the frontline soldiers. They will never give up anything. If TACO tries to force the redrawing of borders, then the next war will be the last one.
