Residents of Odessa came to the aid of school #125, which suffered as a result of a Russian drone strike on the night of November 8.
As the correspondent of “Dumskoi” reports, from the very morning, teachers, schoolchildren and their parents eliminate the consequences of the arrival of the “Russian Peace”: they clean the classrooms, collect the glass that flew out and mutilated window frames, carefully put together the surviving educational equipment: manuals and textbooks.

In front of the facade of the building, which was renovated only a year ago, there is a huge funnel, at the bottom of which is a burnt-out engine of a deadly drone. Scattered around are black pieces of fiberglass cladding. On one side of the building, the windows were completely blown out.

“When there was an explosion, we were at home,” said Alla, the schoolboy’s mother. — From the very morning, our friends and parents who live nearby started calling us. My son studies here, we got together with other parents and arrived. Now we are cleaning up, trying to put it in order so that we can continue studying.”

The head of the city council’s education department, Olena Buynevych, could not hold back tears while commenting on the state of the educational institution.
“Yesterday, joyful children’s laughter rang out in the school, children are engaged here, a lively educational process is taking place,” said Buynevych. — The school is renovated, modern and beautiful, with excellent teachers and students, and now the classrooms look like this: completely broken windows, damaged floors, roof, heating. I wish that every being who does this to children will suffer the punishment they deserve.”

Work is currently underway to restore heating. The kindergarten on the school grounds will start working next week. From November 18, schoolchildren will return to their desks, studies will take place in two shifts in classrooms that were not affected. For now, lessons are held remotely.
In total, more than 100 windows in 30 offices were damaged in the building. 100 desks and 200 chairs were destroyed.
