Satellite images of the Russian military airfield “Borisoglebsk” in the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation have appeared after the attack by Ukrainian drones on the night of August 14. They show the consequences of the defeat and several destroyed hangars in the northwestern part of the airfield.
This part of the territory is home to the technical and operational unit, which is engaged in the repair and maintenance of aircraft. This is reported by the “Schemes” project.
Journalists published a satellite image of a military airfield from August 6 of this year and compared it with a photograph taken a week later, after the Ukrainian military strike on the night of August 14.
“The satellite recorded the consequences of Ukrainian drone strikes on the active military airfield “Borisoglebsk” in the Voronezh region of Russia. Satellite images from Planet Labs for August 14, available to “Schemes”, show that Ukrainian drones hit the northwestern part of the airfield – in particular, several hangars were destroyed,” the report says.

“Schemes” also showed the photos to aviation expert Anatoly Khrapchinsky. He noted that the location where the aftermath of the attack was recorded is the location of the technical and operational unit, which is engaged in the repair and maintenance of aircraft. The Borisoglebsk airfield is used by the Russian Air Force, and in particular, Su-25, Su-30, Su-34 and Su-35 aircraft are based there.
Meanwhile, the Internet is actively discussing the possibility that the affected hangars contained “important military aircraft.”
Recall that it was previously reported that on the night of August 14, long-range drones of the SBU and the Defense Forces (the Armed Forces, the Special Operations Forces, the Center for Unmanned Systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense and other branches of the armed forces) carried out the largest attack on Russian military airfields in the entire war. Sources in the special service did not disclose data on the results of the strike, but noted that four enemy military airfields were attacked during the night: Voronezh, Kursk, Savasleyka and Borisoglebsk.
The goal of the attack was said to be the desire of Ukrainian soldiers to eliminate the possibility for the enemy to use the damaged objects for KAB strikes on the front line and Ukrainian cities.

We can only hope so. These murder instruments must be destroyed. If possible, their murderous crews must also be eliminated.
