The Taliban has reacted sharply to US President Donald Trump’s call to return Bagram Air Base, which is currently under the authority of the Afghan regime, to American control, Bloomberg reports .
“Afghanistan is fully independent, ruled by its own people and not dependent on any foreign power. We are not afraid of any hooligan or aggressor,” said Armed Forces Chief of Staff Fasihuddin Fitrat during a speech in Kabul broadcast on state television.
