About 30,000 people died there in 10 years due to executions, torture, hunger, or lack of medical care.

In Syria, thousands of people are being rescued from underground cells at Sednaya prison, known as a “death camp” and “human slaughterhouse.”

According to The Telegraph , the rebels entered the Sednai territory on December 8. They began opening the metal doors of the cells to free thousands of exhausted, stunned prisoners.

It is noted that rescue operations are currently underway, and it is assumed that more than 10,000 people are in the underground chambers. “They are in a labyrinth of chambers, up to 30 m underground. People are locked behind massive doors,” the publication writes.

According to media reports, many prisoners were in the dungeon without electricity, food, water and air access. There is no free access to these cells – the doors are locked with electronic locks, which require special codes. Therefore, to save people who are in underground compartments, it is necessary to break through the floor and walls. So far, rescuers have reached two of the four underground floors.

Gallows were found in this prison, and people were held underground in terrible conditions.

One of the released prisoners said: “You would be hard-pressed to find a former prisoner of Sednai who would tell you what really happened there, because it is so humiliating. I don’t even know what words to use to describe what I saw.”

The Telegraph also published a video from this prison, which shows that a small child was in one of the cells. The child was in prison with his mother.

“The tiny baby’s eyes were filled with curiosity and awe, as his liberators shouted, ‘Run! Run!’ The rescue of this terrified child from Syria’s saddest prison is perhaps the most fitting symbol of the fall of Bashar al-Assad,” the publication writes.

    • Nothing from the useless UN yet. Has word reached the land of the jellyfish that Assad has scarpered?

      • I don’t even think about the Useless snake pit called UN when I read or hear about such things.
If the orange one wants to do something great, he should get us the hell out of this corrupt shit and kick them all out of New York. They can set up camp in Burkina Faso, for all I care.
