Kremlin ruler Putin is declaring Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky illegitimate in order to mislead foreign leaders and audiences.
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiga. He recalled that during the quarter century of Putin’s stay in the Kremlin, three presidents have changed in Ukraine in fair elections, and Donald Trump has managed to return to the White House for the second time:
“This is what democracy and legitimacy look like. But Putin usurped power, trampled the Russian constitution, killed or imprisoned all opponents, destroyed free media, staged a sham vote for himself, and has remained in power longer than Stalin. Now this man lectures the world on legitimacy. Leave us alone.”
Sibiga noted that the only thing that can be questioned is the legitimacy of the dictator in Moscow, “who turns twenty-year-old men who were born when he was already in power into cannon fodder.”
