Sweden just confirmed it’s building a brand-new spy agency modeled directly on Britain’s MI6, ending two centuries of deliberate spy neutrality. The reason sits on the seafloor: a sustained pattern of undersea cable sabotage across the Baltic, tied to Russia’s shadow fleet, that Sweden’s fragmented intelligence structure was never built to piece together.
