According to him, satellite images should soon confirm what exactly was hit at the Belbek airfield.

In the temporarily occupied Crimea, the Belbek military airfield was attacked . The air base is likely completely destroyed and out of action for a long time.
This statement was made by military expert and editor-in-chief of Defense Express Oleg Katkov on the Espresso TV channel . He noted that on satellite images “one can see precisely the defeat of the anti-aircraft missile system, which was clearly there.”
“We are talking about the destruction of fuels and lubricants. A warehouse with aircraft weapons was also probably hit. If this information is confirmed, it means that not only ATACMS were used, but also cruise missiles of the Storm Shadow/SCALP type. These are the kinds of things they use The main goal then was a fairly well-planned combined attack, during which cluster ATACMS destroyed the air defense area guarding this airfield, the aircraft themselves that were there, and after that all other targets were hit, that is, if all of them were confirmed. If this is a list of targets hit, then we are talking about the complete destruction of the entire air base and its incapacitation for quite a long period of time,” Katkov explained.
The expert noted that satellite images would soon have to confirm what exactly was hit at the airfield. There are no accurate images that would allow us to assess the extent of the damage, since the weather there was cloudy yesterday.
“We hope that the weather will be better today and the corresponding satellite images will be taken. But it should be noted that more than one ATACMS cassette was used. Therefore, even satellite images may not record the degree of damage to the aircraft in order to assess what was really destroyed there,” – Oleg Katkov summarized.
Strike on Belbek airfield: what is known about the consequences

Yeah!
Well, maybe that’s overdoing it a little. It’s extremely hard to completely destroy an airfield. But, making one untenable is good enough.
I can’t wait to see the destruction when russia don’t intercept all missiles.
