Ukrainian strike drones attacked Russian targets in the Astrakhan region.

The ASTRA Telegram channel posted a video from local residents recording drones flying overhead.

The locals spotted them over Akhtubinsk.

The Ukrainian Air Force reports that an intercontinental ballistic missile was launched from the Astrakhan region today.

Governor Igor Babushkin only claimed the air danger and the routine work of air defense.

He also stated that a fire broke out in the Astrakhan region as a result of a Ukrainian drone crashing. He clarified that there were no casualties or damage to civilian infrastructure.

In the morning, drones also attacked the neighboring Volgograd region of the Russian Federation. It is possible that the attack drones were trying to strike the Russian facilities responsible for launching the ballistic missile at the city of Dnipro.

On the morning of November 21, a large-scale air alert was announced in Ukraine due to the threat of ballistic missiles. Explosions were heard in Dnipro.

Later, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russia had launched an intercontinental ballistic missile from the Astrakhan region at Ukraine, flying toward Dnipro. According to the authorities, there were two casualties in the city, and a rehabilitation center, an industrial enterprise, and houses were damaged.

The day before, there were reports in the media and on social media that Russia was allegedly going to attack Ukraine with a ballistic missile in the coming days.

Reports suggested that the strike could be carried out by an RS-26 Rubezh ballistic missile, which is a medium-range ballistic missile designed to deliver nuclear warheads. Some sources speculated that the launch was planned from the Kapustin Yar test site in the Astrakhan region.
